WELCOME
As a co-sponsor of House Bill 145, Rep. Hensley proudly joined the Kosmalski family at the recent bill signing ceremony held for this important measure.

The legislation clarifies how funds in ABLE accounts - which are special savings accounts established for persons with disabilities - are treated upon the death of a beneficiary. The new law specifically prohibits state agencies from clawing back from the ABLE account any funds that have been expended on behalf of a designated beneficiary.

Rep. Hensley said it was great to take part in an effort that will strengthen Delaware's ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) Act!
